What are tennis courts made out of?

Have you ever wondered what tennis courts are made out of? There are actually a few different materials used depending on the type of court. Most commonly, you'll find hard courts made of acrylic over a concrete or asphalt base. On the other hand, clay courts are made from crushed brick, shale, or stone.
