Northaw and Cuffley Lawn tennis club was formed in 1937 and today has a Membership of 270 adults, plus 250 Juniors and 55 Social Members.

It is essentially a Community Club, catering for all standards, from Beginners upwards, and all ages.

    Whether you are five, fifty five or eighty five, tennis is the sport for you and better still, it is the sport for life.

    Tennis is a safe non contact sport that does not need to rely on expensive equipment. It can be practised alone or played with 2,3 or 4 people and it is one of the easiest sports to participate in.

    Tournaments our tournaments

    We run a full program of annual tournaments for our members.

    Open to all - our tournaments can be entered into by any member in their current division. Major tournaments last for a week finishing on a finals day which runs in tandem with our finals day social event.

      I have always enjoyed watching tennis but never got the chance to play. All my friends played football. It wasn't until 2009 that I joined the tennis club with a friend.

       I joined Cuffley tennis club in 2007 shortly after I moved into the area. Right from an early age I have loved tennis but never seriously thought of joining a club until a friend suggested it, and I have loved ever minute of it.
